Since 1999, this site has been the home of the official WinUAE Help File. Until now, that is, because the CHM file will be no more. The CHM format has been formally deprecated by Microsoft in 2021, after not seeing any significant development for almost 20 years!
However, that does not mean the content will go away, quite the contrary. We have updated the files to the Markdown format, which are used to generate the online help in new design. Along with this, we have also heavily updated the actual content, with more improvements incoming.
For those who insist on having the contents available offline: in the top right corner of the online help, you will find a PDF document available for download.
