UserAudit Command Line Switches
Command Line Switches
By default, when UserAudit is started, it presents the user
with a graphical user interface. To change the startup behaviour, the program
can be started with command line switches.
UserAudit has the following command line switches:
- /nui
Starts the program without a GUI (Graphical User Interface). This allows
the program to be run silently in batch mode. For more information on
the graphical standard interface, see UserAudit GUI.
- /xml:FileName
With this option set, UserAudit will write an XML file to
the specified location after auditing a domain. This switch will only have
an effect when the program is run in silent mode.
Example command line: /xml:c:\result.xml
- /dom:DomainName
This option allows to set a domain name that should be audited. If the
parameter is omitted, the default domain name according to the settings
will be used. It only has an effect in silent mode.
Example command line: /dom:MY-DOMAIN
Note: To call NetInventory with
a command line switch, you can either type the full command line at the "Start|Run" command
or you can create and edit a shortcut to include the desired switch.
